Cam2pc is a handy program that comes in two editions: freeware and shareware. The freeware edition allows you to download pictures from your camera, explore, and view the images; whereas the shareware edition includes many features for managing and editing the pictures. In addition, you can print pictures, view them as slideshow in full-screen mode, enhance, edit the EXIF information, create albums for classifying your pictures, and more. You can associate all the image formats with cam2pc to view them in that program.
The main window of cam2pc is called "The Image Browser", which is organized in a way that you can browse folders, preview images, and view thumbnails of the images (you can switch the image view from thumbnails to details). You can select one or more images and perform different actions: rotate, flip, resize, convert to another image format, etc. One important feature is "Enhance Image", which allows you to adjust the brightness, contrast, saturation, remove the red-eye effect, crop the image, and add borders. You can also define an external image editor to be opened directly after you select an image.
To import images from your camera, the program includes a wizard that guides you step by step to configure your camera and import the images (some cameras may require USB drivers to be installed in advance).
